Miss Tan distributed some pens among her pupils. When each pupil took 13 pens, she found that the last pupil only had 8 pens. When each pupil took 11 pens, there were 25 pens left over. How many pens were there altogether?

My answer is 15. 13-8=5 5+25=30 13-11=2 30 divide 2=15 So ANS:15

Thanks for your response. Again only two of you responding. What about the other 34 pupils? Nobody else interested? Anyway, I'll post another question for you this evening.
